Textures for FREE:)

Textures are all around us. Start shooting them for yourself. Be ORIGINAL! Do you want your stuff to look like other photographers?! While in Venice Beach on Tuesday, I shot 21 textures in about 3 minutes. I shot graffiti on walls, stained windows, and paint on the sidewalk. These are some of the images I captured to gritty up my images.

The original shot of the man's hand and foot.

I added this texture in "overlay" mode at 50% opacity, then flattened it.

Then double the layer and change the mode to "multiply". Viola! "Gritty original image".
Drag the above two images to your desktop and try it for yourself. Textures for free:) Do we live in a great country or what? Express yourself.
