I'm assuming that almost everyone has seen my favorite Christmas movie. I actually saw this movie when it first came out in theaters in 1983. My dad took us that first year, and I've loved it ever since. If, by chance, you haven't seen it - I strongly recommend you rent it. Perhaps it will become a classic with your family traditions too.
This 1983 comedy celebrates the sort of Christmas a young boy may have had in the 1940s.Young Ralphie Parker wants only one thing: a Red Ryder Carbine Action 200 Shot Range Model Air Rifle. His parents don't want him to shoot his eye out and refuse to get it. Wacky hijinks ensue as Ralphie develops some very creative ploys to convince his mother and father that this is the only thing they should give him.

I second your comments. It is one of my favorite movies of all time and I can watch it over and over again.
