Before and after wall
While I began shooting at this super cool temporary wall, I had a vision of the couple without the sidewalk or construction in the background. After tweaking the original, I had my completed vision. I like the before shot and it would be fine, but I like the after shot better. It seems more idealistic and clean to me. That appeals to my style. There is no right answer to which is better. It's just which shot you prefer.
Agreed, love the "after" shot better...:)

very funkified! i like the after so much more .... the engagement shots are really great! so much personality shines through - my favorite though is the shadow of their handholding - says so much to me.
on a completely off-topic note - when I was preggos with #1, I had placed the name Tucker on my card for our "name game" my hubby and I played, and my husband was adamantly opposed to that name. :( I truly adore that name (still do!) and honestly, it's one of those names that just has a personality associated with it, don't you think? kind of a preconceived notion thing, right? so, Tucker - GREAT name! :) In my humble opinion of course!

Karin, thanks for coming back so often. Erin and Rodolfo thanks for the compliments. Tammy, I simply added layers of white to the top and bottom of the shot, then I tediously erased from the bottom layer to show the legs and shadows. Good times and well worth it.
