Your Best Life Now

Joel Osteen has an encouraging message, filled with Faith and Hope. This was my first time listening to one of Joel's books. I appreciated his words and stories. I hope you will be encouraged by them too.

From Barnes & Noble Televangelist Joel Osteen's message of hope and encouragement has won him praise from actor Chuck Norris and author Joyce Meyer. In Your Best Life Now, he encourages believers to discover their innate, God-given strengths and abilities to overcome obstacles and achieve authentic success.

Lakewood Church, where Joel Osteen preaches, hired me a couple of years ago take photographs for their new billboards in the Houston area. The church paid a 25% retainer. I financed the shoot which cost me far more than the retainer. It took Joel Osteen's church more than 6 months to pay me and they only paid after my lawyer threatened to sue. If you want to read this book check it out from the library.

Dude, Chuch Norris? Dude, Dude, Chuck Norris. DUUUDE.

Joel has a new book that came out a few months ago. Become a Better You. I have the audiobook and it is awesome. It really puts it all into perspective.

Careful of anything put out by Joel Osteen. Don't be fooled by his nice smile and friendly words. The gospel of Christ is not for people to feel good and warm inside, it is a gospel of man being sinful and needing a Savior to redeem them. Osteen has no theological background/training and believes that he nor people need to learn the bible or hear anything about the truth of the condition of man, sin, and Christ. He preaches only what people want to hear and not what they need to hear. His training and degree was in marketing and television. A man with those beliefs should not be followed or trusted. Guard your hearts. Sorry for the sermon.
