July 4th - Freedom Baby, Yeah

I'd like to wish everyone a Happy 4th of July! We enjoy such a wonderful freedom in the USA. Celebrate it and be grateful everyday.

I have decided to exercise my freedom to take a vacation from blogging for the month of July. I have posted an entry everyday for a year and a half and it's been a wonderful creative expression. But, I have simply over-committed and I need to refocus my goals. So, for now, I'm going to use the time that I would be blogging for other projects that I've wanted to complete.

Milwaukee Wedding - Steph & Paul

My long time friend from Elementary School married his Soul Mate last weekend at his Parent's home close to where we lived as kids. It was wonderful to be back in Milwaukee. It had been over 22 years since I'd been back. A lot has changed. Paul and I drove around "memory lane" and visited our old homes and schools. It was interesting to relive our childhood memories.

Corona del Mar Wedding - Vivian & Steven

When I did the walk through at the Bride and Groom's home, it was easy to determine that the best background was going to be their gorgeous view of The Newport Beach Harbor. I brought out a couple lights and Viola, dramatic portraits. Photography is so awesome. I has such an easy day shooting this wedding because of the incredible work that Kelly Aguilar of Social Butterfly Events provided. It was great to work with her! Enjoy.

Godparents

I'm back from Milwaukee and I have so much to blog about and just catch up. A week ago Ingrid and I became Godparents to Brooklyn and Sienna Davis. We are so honored:) The excitement wore out little Sienna by the end of the service. We love you Brian and Christie!!
