Spring Cleaning

Santa Monica Pier - Engagement Session

Last friday afternoon I met Ashley and Jason at The Santa Monica Pier. We had planned to shoot what they love to do together, which is exercise. This couple has stamina. They really worked out. They climbed ropes, hung from rings, did pull ups and climbed more ropes. I had asked them if we could also do some playful activities on the Pier. They obliged. Here are a selection of my faves from the day.

The Now Habit

This was my favorite book about overcoming procrastination because it addresses the underlying issues of procrastination and the "how's" and "why's" we do it. I especially love the concept of scheduling guilt-free play into your day to increase your productivity and avoid burnout.

Hit the Wall

I got back from Vegas Thursday night. I had an incredibly rich time journaling on Friday morning. Ingrid and I took an amazing walk and then I headed up to LA for an engagement session and 2 wedding consultations. I spent the night with my sister and brother-in-law and left in the morning for another wedding consultation.

Whew.

I'm physically spent. I slept for hours today and I'm regressing back to being sick again.

Look forward to more robust blog entries in a couple of days. In the meantime, I'll choose to rest and offer what I can..

Thank you for the input and emails regarding the closing program in Vegas. I really appreciate your words and prayers.

Re-New

Good Morning Friends,

I am renewing this morning after the flurry of activity in Las Vegas for the past week. Today is full of opportunities and I'm so excited to face the challenges ahead of me. I have a renewed sense of purpose, direction and motivation upon reflecting on the significant moments that occurred with old friends and new friends at the convention that has changed my life.

I'd like to thank all of attendees who made the effort to take notes through my presentation yesterday. Congratulations! You've done more for determining your goals than most people will ever do. Continue to refine those goals this weekend. Be sure to be specific and attach a completion date.

I'll do the same.

Salton Sea 4
