Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel Wedding

Indian weddings are full of colorful visual elements which make them so fun to photograph. I've done so many now, that I'm actually anticipating the sequence of events in the ceremony.  Last week I photographed Veena and Mohit's wedding at the Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel. My good friend Sheryal Rozzelle from Unique Elegance coordinated the wedding and Alex and his team from Square Root did the incredible floral design. It's so easy to capture great images when you are working with talented, professional vendors. They make me look good. Enjoy.

Mountain Gate Country Club Wedding

Kim and James enjoyed a fabulous wedding day at Mountain Gate Country Club in Los Angeles. Their wedding was coordinated by Kary Heimbach of kary h events. Flowers were designed by Sonny Alexander.

Maui Wedding

Maui is sweet place to get married and a nice place to vacation. I was stoked to shoot Eric and Rachel's wedding just south of Wailea at a private estate in Makena and then stay for a few extra days. The Bride and Groom are both artists and they partnered with White Orchid Weddings to have a simple, romantic beach wedding. It was a pleasure being among Eric's family again as I shot his brother Ryan's wedding in 2007 as well as his sister Kelly's wedding in 2005.

The Crossings at Carlsbad - Wedding

Last week was my first opportunity to photograph a wedding at The Crossings at Carlsbad. Brian and Meghan made it a priority for their guests to have a great time. There were gaming tables, great dance music, and a killer candy station. Lisa Lippe and her team from Details Defined rocked the coordination and Kathy Wright did the amazing floral design. Enjoy!

Scott and Ellen - After Session

While we were in Mexico, I had arranged a few hours with a great guide to take Scott, Ellen and myself to some really cool places in Zihuatanejo, including a local market, The Parthenon, and a local soccer match. For destination weddings, I love to have the opportunity to shoot the couple in local places to give their album a little extra flavor. We went out 2 days after their wedding. I highly recommend an "after session" with the couple whenever possible. It's fun for them and it's great for portfolio experimentation. Enjoy!

Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing this extraordinary wedding one month ago at The Ritz Carlton.I love working there (tons of great photo environments). A few weeks ago, I photographed Lauren and Michael's wedding. Amazingly, when Lauren was five years old, she was in my mom's kindergarten class in Mission Viejo, Ca. Through the years my mom has watched her grow into the beautiful young lady she is today. It was really cool to have my parents attending Lauren's wedding as guests. They don't often have the opportunity to see me in action.

The Fairmont - Newport Beach - Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing my third same sex wedding a week ago. James and Ryan were married at the newly renovated Fairmont Hotel. I had last shot there years ago when it was still The Sutton Place Hotel. The guys really knew how to throw a party in honor of their commitment. Great food, great wine and great music provided by Sibling Rivalry. Enjoy!
